I am Sylvia and I am delighted to be able to run blocks of Sound Baths, one to one treatments (incorporating Reiki) and Private Sound Baths by arrangement. In summer months, I can offer small groups (of up to 4 people) a Sound Bath by candle light in my blue bell tent with roaring wood burning stove. It is an extra special experience. I can also give Kinetic Chain Release.
I first came across Tibetan singing bowls in 2011 at a Tibetan craft stall. I was instantly drawn to them and the Tibetan stall holder showed me how to play them. Later I went for some Reiki healing, and the healer used Tibetan singing bowls as part of the treatment. At the end, she said I just feel like you want to play my bowls....she was right!!!
After that I purchased some bowls of my own and started experimenting on myself. I found them useful in relieving the discomfort of my arthritis which is an autoimmune condition. However it was only when I somersaulted off a horse and fractured my spine that I really tuned into what the bowls could do. I took pain killers for one week after my fall and then used my bowls to dissipate my pain. Using the bowls together with daily meditation sessions and a calcium rich diet I healed really well. I used my recovery time to research playing and using the bowls, as well as reading widely on sound healing. I also decided that I wanted to share what I learned and make this "my positive" from a difficult period in my life.

I am also a certified Kinetic Chain Release Practitioner. Kinetic Chain Release (KCR) is a total body treatment of medically and scientifically approved gentle mobilisations and stretches developed by Scottish Physiotherapist Hugh Gilbert. After my own first treatment I felt like I walked out with a new body that worked, was supple and flexible!!! I am delighted to share this modality with you.
I am a storyteller and love telling children's stories. Sitting round and telling stories is a deep routed human trait, and does a power of good. I have many stories together with puppets and props that make for an entertaining evening. I prefer to have an interactive element with my stories. SOUND BATH Friday 24th May 2024 at 7.30pm in Mid Deeside Church Hall, Lumphanan. The cost is £10 per person for the sound bath. The sound bath will consist of guided breathing meditations, chakra balancing meditations and immersive sound baths. CHILD AND PARENT/CARER SOUND BATH 3.30pm - 4.30pm Saturday 1st June 2024 This is a paired down sound bath for one Parent/Carer and up to 2 Children for the bargain price of £10 for all three. It is suitable for children of around age 7 to 15. The sound bath will consist of a guided breath meditation, visualisation meditation and immersive sound bath for around 40 mins.
